The Minimum entry requirements into National Diploma (ND) in Mechanical Engineering are Five (5) Credits passes in WASC/ NECO/GCE O'level/ SSCE/ NABTEB- National Technical Certificate (NTC) Examination at not more than two (2) sittings. The subject must include: 1. English Language; 2. Mathematics; 3. Physics; 4. Chemistry; 5. Plus any one (1) of the following: Biology/Agricultural Science/Animal Husbandry, Further Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Technical Drawing, Auto-Mechanics, Metal Work, Tractor Mechanics, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning . ( In addition to the above), Applicants having NABTEB-National Technical Certificate (NTC) with five (5) Credits Passes in the above must have a Credit Pass in the Mechanical Trade Areas. NOTE: Only NABTEB National Technical Certificate (NTC) would be accepted for admission and not NABTEB National Business Certificate (NBC) |
